Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder (R) signed a bill June 22...
... adding a work requirement
to the state's Medicaid program, which currently serves 2,361,909 people, with
73% enrolled in managed care plans. Some of the bill's stricter provisions,
such as a requirement to work 116 hours per month and exemptions for residents
of rural counties, were ultimately struck down from the final version.
