New Enhancements
on AGing Integrated Database (AGID) Website
ACL’s newly enhanced AGing
Integrated Database (AGID) features links to Administration on
Disabilities (AOD) programs, as well as new data products from the
Administration on Aging’s (AOA) programs and reporting systems.
AGID is an online query system that enables data users to
access and analyze data in a centralized location. It has convenient
features such as quick table formats supplemented by map and chart
graphical representations, interactive maps, pre-populated tables of key
data elements, and detailed multi-year tables available for query. The new
enhancements expand AGID to include links to disability programs and data
collection activities, as well as new aging-related data products.
A few of the major enhancements include:
On the “Data Files”
page, this page now includes links to:
- Administration on
Disabilities programs;
- Administration on
Disabilities funded data collection activities;
- Current Administration on
Aging evaluation activities; and
- Contact information for
people asked to participate in AOA surveys or studies, or who are
interested in accessing evaluation data for research purposes.
In addition to the Administration on Aging’s resources on the
"Data Files" page:
- National Survey of Older
Americans Act Participants; and
- American Community Survey
Special Tabulation on Aging.
On the “Resources”
page, this page now includes a dropdown feature providing users with a
variety of new data products such as Data Stories,
Blog Posts,
and Issue Briefs
created from AOA's State Program Reports, Title VI Services, National
Family Caregiver Support Program, and National Survey of Older Americans
Act Participants. New data products from these programs will be posted
during the next few months. Look for new data products from the National
Ombudsman Reporting System to be posted in the near future!
Thanks for your input!
