Florida saw over 15,000 new cases in one day Sunday. Over 3500 in
Miami-Dade alone (Wordlometers).
New York City apparently had
zero COVID-19 deaths Saturday, the first time since early March (NBC New York).
New York still has
the highest number of cases per million citizens (Twitter).
Overall deaths in the U.S. are
still much lower than the peak (Twitter) even though we are at the peak in
daily cases (Twitter).
