Florida Sees Skyrocketing COVID-19 Cases

Florida saw over 15,000 new cases in one day Sunday.  Over 3500 in Miami-Dade alone (Wordlometers).

New York City apparently had zero COVID-19 deaths Saturday, the first time since early March (NBC New York).

New York still has the highest number of cases per million citizens (Twitter).

Overall deaths in the U.S. are still much lower than the peak (Twitter) even though we are at the peak in daily cases (Twitter).

Dr. Scott Gottlieb explains why he believes schools can safely open this fall (WSJ).
