Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts (R) last week held...
...a press conference to share new
details about the state's Medicaid expansion plans, which voters approved
through a ballot initiative in 2018. Newly eligible residents will be able to
sign up for Medicaid coverage on Aug. 1, with coverage beginning Oct. 1.
Ricketts said about 90,000 are newly eligible for benefits, which would
represent a 37.4% increase to the state’s Medicaid rolls.
