 New COVID-19 cases rising 5% or more in 11 states

An analysis of COVID-19 data from Johns Hopkins University showed the number of new cases was rising by 5% or more in 11 states as of Sunday, with Wisconsin logging a record high in new cases, while Kansas and Montana both reported record numbers for new deaths. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci said the current trend of about 40,000 new cases and 1,000 deaths each day is "disturbing."
