Bill calls for SSI to provide more Medicare Part B

The Social Security Administration would provide people nearing
the Medicare eligibility age information explaining Medicare Part B, the
enrollment process, and why signing up for Part B late can be a bad idea, according
bipartisan legislation filed in the US House and Senate. The legislation says
about 760,000 Medicare beneficiaries paid a Part B late-enrollment penalty in
2018.
