LeadingAge urges public to help stop COVID-19 spread
LeadingAge highlighted the impact of COVID-19 on older adults,
calling on Congress to pass a new federal relief package and writing an open
letter to the public asking people to wear a mask, socially distance, and
practice handwashing. LeadingAge Wisconsin CEO John Sauer said ignoring a virus
that attacks and kills older adults is a form of ageism.
