Today, the Centers for
Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released new data from the Medicare
Current Beneficiary Survey (MCBS) related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The
COVID-19 supplement to the MCBS was administered during the winter of 2021
and asked Medicare beneficiaries about the impacts of the pandemic on their
daily life, well-being, and the health care services they receive. In
addition, beneficiaries were asked about their perceptions of the severity of
the pandemic, their vaccination status, and their willingness to receive the
COVID-19 vaccine. To view an infographic
highlighting results of the MCBS COVID-19 supplement, click HERE. A public use file detailing the survey
results is located HERE. |
