Help share the love to nearly 1,000 Texas Veterans The VLB is honored and privileged to provide long-term care to nearly 1,000 Texas Veterans in our nine State Veteran Homes. This month, we call on all Texans to show our love and appreciation for these men and women through our “Valentines for Veterans” campaign. Texas continues honoring unaccompanied Veterans One of the most solemn ceremonies, is an Unaccompanied Veterans Burial. These necessary and dignified services ensure that Texas Veterans who are without known next of kin, are not buried alone. We are honored to continue these burial services where each time, dozens—and in case hundreds—of community members and Veterans groups show up to support our nation’s Veterans.
