On January 26, Director Hilgert testified before the Appropriations Committee and spoke about the recent pay increases at our veterans’ homes that have resulted in a large increase in applications and hires, as well as the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery in Grand Island project and the incredible teamwork and support of Hall County, Grand Island, and central Nebraska.
