CY 2023 Part D Senior
Savings Model: Part D Sponsor Request for Applications (RFA) Now Available
Today, the Centers for
Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released the Part D Senior Savings
(PDSS) Model Calendar Year (CY) 2023 Part D Sponsor Request for Applications
(RFA) and accompanying application. The RFA, application, and list of
participating pharmaceutical manufacturers for CY 2023 are available on the Part D Senior
Savings Model webpage. The application
deadline for interested Part D Sponsors, including those currently
participating in the PDSS Model, is Friday,
April 8, 2022 at 11:59PM PDT. The PDSS Team will host a
webinar at 3:00PM ET
on March 9th, 2022 to provide an overview of the Model and
the application process. Register here
to attend this webinar. Now in its third year,
the PDSS Model is designed to provide Medicare beneficiaries with new choices
of Part D plans that offer insulin at an affordable and predictable price. By
limiting beneficiary cost-sharing, CMS aims to provide equitable access to
this critical, life-saving drug. The RFA, along with the
latest model announcements, can be found on the Part D Senior
