  • Eighteen states filed lawsuits to stop President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for federal contractors.
  • Eleanor Slater Hospital in Rhode Island will continue to allow unvaccinated direct care workers to work, having failed to replace them a month after the state’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate went into effect.
  • A new study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests that vaccination provides stronger and more reliable protection against the disease than past infection.
