In symbolic move, Senate votes down COVID-19 emergency,
health worker vaccine rule
The Senate voted on party lines this week to end the COVID-19 national
public health emergency and to eliminate a COVID-19 vaccine requirement for
health care workers. Both measures are seen as symbolic because they are
expected to fail in the House, and the White House also said the measures will
be vetoed if they reach the President's desk.
