Summer Drive ends tonight at MIDNIGHT

 

 

Anita, There are just a few hours left in our annual Summer Drive, so I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss this opportunity to make a difference in your community and nationwide.

 

 

 

Here are the facts:

 

About 70% of cardiac arrests happen in homes and many – far too many family members – are not prepared for a cardiac emergency.   In one year alone, 475,000 Americans die from a cardiac arrest.   Each year, more than 350,000 people in the U.S. go into cardiac arrest outside of a hospital. About 90% die.

 

Here’s another fact: If you’re called upon to give CPR in an emergency, you will most likely be trying to save the life of someone you love. There’s nothing more personal. The American Heart Association trains more than 22 million people each year in lifesaving CPR so they’ll be prepared when called upon.
