Nutrition:  Call for Effective Strategies to Increase Voluntary Contributions

ACL's Office of Nutrition and Health Promotion Programs (ONHPP) is looking for examples of how congregate meals sites encourage participants to make voluntary contributions.
If you or your organization run a congregate meals program, we want to hear about what strategies you've used to collect or solicit voluntary contributions, and what worked well.
A few select examples will be rolled out to other sites around the country and tested for their effectiveness, as part of an effort to learn what works and develop recommendations for congregate meals sites nationwide.
Please send us your example posters, flyers, scripts, orientation handbooks, pictures, etc. All examples should include a short description of what you did and whether it worked (and how you determined this).
Also include your name, contact information (if you are willing to be contacted for follow-up), and your congregate meals site name.

Email submissions healthpromotion@acl.hhs.gov by October 12, 2018.

ONHPP manages health and wellness programs for older adults, including education, outreach, and promotion programs in the areas of behavioral health, chronic disease self-management, falls prevention, nutrition services, and oral health promotion.
