Of the 893,658 Medicaid beneficiaries in Arkansas...
...4,353 of them have lost
their health benefits due to a failure to meet the state's new work
requirements, according to state data. Arkansas was the first state to
implement work requirements into its Medicaid program. Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R)
announced in a news conference that about 1,000 of the original 26,000 eligible
have found jobs.
