...pharma leader AstraZeneca for the insurer's UPMC For Life Medicare members who are prescribed Brilinta, which lowers the risk of additional heart attacks in patients that have suffered a heart attack within the previous 12 months. Brilinta will be available to these members on the generic drug tier. UPMC currently has 153,291 Medicare Advantage members, 11.9% of its total medical lives.
