CDC: 40.9% of adults avoid medical care due to COVID-19
The CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report said 40.9% of US
adults had delayed or avoided medical care as of June 30 due to concerns about
the COVID-19 pandemic. Data showed non-Hispanic Black adults and Hispanic or
Latino adults were more likely to avoid getting urgent or emergency care,
compared with white adults.
