COVID-19, seasonal influenza clinical features

Researchers studied 315 youths with COVID-19 and more than 1,400
youths with seasonal influenza and found no statistically significant differences
in the rates of hospitalization, admission to the intensive care unit and
mechanical ventilator use between the two groups. However, the findings in JAMA
Network Open also showed that pediatric COVID-19 patients were more likely to
report symptoms such as fever, cough, diarrhea or vomiting, headache, body ache
or chest pain at the time of diagnosis, compared with pediatric flu patients.
