FCC releases plan for $100M rural telehealth project

Federal regulators laid out plans for allocating $100 million to bring telehealth programs to low-income people without ready access to care, especially in rural areas, under the new Connected Care Pilot Program. The Federal Communications Commission, which has not set a date for starting the project, said grants would cover 85% of connectivity costs for the programs.
