Recurrent MI decreases for men, women, study says
Rates of recurrent myocardial infarction decreased among men and
women from 2008 to 2017, except for women ages 21 to 54 and men ages 55 to 79,
researchers reported in the journal Circulation. Recurrent coronary heart
disease, heart failure hospitalization and all-cause mortality also decreased
among patients hospitalized for MI.
