Report: ASCs see decline in patients due to COVID-19
Patients are putting off elective procedures and physician
appointments because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has put some ambulatory
surgical centers' futures in doubt, according to a report from Global
Healthcare Advisors. Some patients prefer ASCs over hospitals because they view
them as safer, which could be used as a marketing tool, according to the
report.
