SSA expected to announce 1.3% COLA for 2021
The cost of living increase for Social Security recipients is
expected to be 1.3% in 2021 based on Consumer Price Index data, which is down
1.6% from 2020, according to the Senior Citizens League. The Social Security
Administration will release the COLA for 2021 on Oct. 13.
