Administration weighs sending masks to all Americans
The administration's COVID-19 Response Team is weighing a plan to
ship millions of face masks directly to American households, but the proposal
has yet to reach President Joe Biden for final approval, according to sources
familiar with the talks. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases
Director Anthony Fauci said the administration is also considering whether
people should double-mask, but it will wait for science to back up any
potential recommendations.
