Dr. Rochelle Walensky said today on NBC’s "Today" show that "right now, we have no information to suggest that you need a second shot after J&J, even with the delta variant," despite some experts floating the idea of a second dose. US Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy also said this week that "we have reasons to be hopeful" about the way Johnson & Johnson's coronavirus vaccine will protect against the delta variant.
