In Case You Missed It: Medicare Shared
Savings Program (MSSP) Participation Data
Good afternoon,
Last December, the Trump
Administration redesigned and set a new direction for the Shared Savings
Program, which is Medicare’s main program for Accountable Care Organizations
(ACO), under “Pathways to Success.” Yesterday, CMS released the ACO
participation data for the July 1, 2019 start date. In a blog by the Administrator and published in Health Affairs, we are
happy to report that the Medicare Shared Savings Program is growing, with
more ACOs taking accountability under the program.
Read the blog here: http://www.healthaffairs.org/do/10.1377/hblog20190717.482997/full/
You can find here a full list of Shared Savings Program ACOs,
including their ACO participants and skilled nursing facility affiliates as
of July 1, 2019.
If you have any questions,
please contact press@cms.hhs.gov.
