California's individual health insurance exchange, Covered California, last week launched...

...a new special enrollment period to assist victims of the state's historically devastating wildfire season. The exchange also reported that 271,820 people signed up for coverage between March 20 and August 20, the special enrollment period for those who lost health care during the COVID-19 pandemic. AIS's Directory of Health Plans currently reports 1,410,117 exchange members in California.
