Long-Term Effect of COVID-19: Timing Uncertain for Reopening the Workplace

 

Earlier this year, many businesses in the U.S. optimistically hoped to reopen their workplaces after Labor Day, but a new survey of managers and executives from The Conference Board suggests a long, uncertain road ahead. 35% of the over 1,100 respondents say the timing of their workplace reopening is unknown and only 14% of organizations will have returned to the workplace by the end of September 2020.
