Fauci: US distribution of COVID-19 vaccines to
improve
Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy
and Infectious Diseases, said in an interview Monday that the distribution of
COVID-19 vaccines will improve as the federal government rolls out new measures
with the goal of boosting the number of those inoculated. The measures include
involving the Defense Department, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and
the Department of Homeland Security to help the Biden administration's vaccine
rollout, as well as purchasing 200 million additional vaccine doses and
increasing the number of doses distributed to each state by millions.
