In an effort to encourage
even more people to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, Massachusetts is launching a lottery sweepstakes
for fully vaccinated residents. People 18 and older will have the chance to win
one of five $1 million cash prizes, and people ages 12 to 17 can win one
of five $300,000 scholarship grants. Even if you're fully vaccinated, you must enter the sweepstakes to win.
Massachusetts isn't the first state that has tried a vaccine lottery incentive.
Ohio previously launched a Vax-a-Million program
that led to a 43 percent boost in vaccination numbers.
