Last year, New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu challenged
a Massachusetts regulation to continue collecting income tax from people who
live out of state but work in the Commonwealth — during a time when many
of those workers were no longer commuting to Massachusetts for work because of
the pandemic. He took his battle over the tax to the Supreme Court.
Today, he lost that battle as the Supreme Court
denied New Hampshire's lawsuit.
