Vermonters are waiting for the US-Canada border to reopen

In Burlington, Vt., many people who rely on the boat traffic on Lake Champlain are eagerly waiting for the United States and Canada to fully reopen their borders. Though Canada is starting to ease its restrictions, both countries' governments aren't expected to reconsider the border closure until July 21. An estimate from the US Travel Association found that each month the border is closed costs about $1.5 billion.
