Companies set new return-to-office dates for workers

Why it matters: Many businesses are starting to alert
employees that it will soon be time to return to the office, and data shows
that office occupancy has moved upward after dipping in January. Many companies
are reopening with some level of flexibility or remote work for employees,
while others are exercising cautious optimism. "Walk with a bounce in your
step and a smile on your face, but don't run," executives at Jefferies
wrote to employees in a letter announcing the investment bank office's
reopening plan.
