Steve ErkenBrack, president and CEO of Rocky
Mountain Health Plans, made a surprise announcement May 21 that he is leaving
the company, according to The Daily Sentinel.
Three things to know:
1. Mr. ErkenBrack will leave the health insurer, which is owned by UnitedHealth Group, this summer.
2. He has spent 10 years on the job, and is only the third CEO in the health plan's 45-year history.
3. During his time at Rocky Mountain Health Plans, Mr. ErkenBrack led the insurer through the creation of a clinical network and its integration with UnitedHealth.
