Join the Office of Minority Health for the 2021 Virtual CMS Quality Conference The CMS Quality Conference will be virtual this year and take place March 2-3, 2021.  Join the CMS Office of Minority Health (CMS OMH) to discuss health equity! Grand Plenary Session Dr. LaShawn McIver, OMH Director, will address “Driving an Equitable Health Care System: CMS’ Role in the Health Equity Movement” on Tuesday, March 2 from 11:00 - 12:30 pm ET. Health Equity Sessions There will be two sessions focused on health equity and population health, covering the following topics: Advancing Health Equity & Improving Health Care Access and Maintenance Session: COVID-19 Response and Recovery: Identifying and Addressing Health Inequities March 2, 12:45 – 1:45 pm ET Addressing the Cause of Health Disparities Session: Health Equity as a "New Normal": CMS Efforts to Address the Causes of Health Disparities March 3, 2:45 – 3:45 pm ET Health Equity Technical Assistance Stop by our virtual booth to learn more about our offerings of health equity technical assistance.
