Letter From The Chairwoman—2023 Valentines For Veterans
Campaign
During this year’s Valentines for
Veterans Campaign, Texas Veterans received an incredible outpouring of
love. Most of our Veterans homes received hundreds of cards and gifts,
and the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham received
over 2,000 cards by Valentine’s Day!

Ranchers and Farmers! The Texas VLB and the Texas AgriLife in Wichita
Falls are teaming up at the upcoming Ranch and Farm Show in Wichita
Falls next month not only to offer opportunities to get some CEUs, but
to bring a one-of-a-kind Veterans Village of resources to you!
The Texas Veterans Land
Board has approved an increase for our home loan amount from $647,200
to $726,200. Eligible Texas Veterans and Military Members can now apply
for VA, FHA or conventional financing using the Veterans Housing
Assistance Program (VHAP) and a VLB participating lender.
Cayetano Tony Acevedo, a native Texan, was drafted into
the U.S. Army in 1972. He was in transportation and had a tour in
Vietnam, serving with the 3rd Brigade, 1st Calvary Division, and the
525th Military Intelligence Expeditionary Brigade.
