medicare dot gov

It's time to get your flu shot

The flu can be very serious, especially for people who are 65 years and older. This flu season, protect yourself and your loved ones by getting the flu shot. It's the best way to help keep you from getting sick and spreading the virus to others.

Medicare covers the flu shot when you get it from a health care provider that accepts Medicare or your Medicare plan.

Learn More

You can safely get the flu shot at multiple locations, like doctor's offices and pharmacies. These locations should be following CDC guidance to ensure you have a safe place to get vaccinated. This includes asking patients to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
