Two large California Medicaid MCOs, L.A. Care Health Plan and Inland Empire Health Plan, last week said...

...they will partner with the University of Southern California's pharmacist-led California Right Meds Collaborative to improve health outcomes for Californians with chronic conditions. Participating pharmacists act as providers, regularly meeting with patients, and will receive payments from the two orgs based on improved outcomes for members with previously uncontrolled chronic conditions, including asthma, diabetes and hypertension. L.A. Care and Inland Empire currently serve 3,435,741 members combined, with 96.2% enrolled in a Medicaid plan.
