Transportation is barrier to vaccination for older
adults
Transportation to COVID-19 vaccination sites has become a barrier
to getting vaccinated for older adults and others who are homebound, don't
drive or don't live near public transportation. Health care providers have
mobilized to do house calls to provide vaccinations and have set up clinics in
housing developments, while community organizations and companies such as Lyft
set up rides to vaccination sites.
