TDI adopts rules
on health plan rate review
The
Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) adopts rules regarding rate review
standards and processes for individual and small group health benefit
plans. The adoption order also establishes 27 new geographic rating
areas. The rules implement Insurance Code Chapter 1698, as added by
Senate Bill 1296 passed in 2021.
