§  Hearings in the Senate Judiciary Committee to confirm Amy Coney Barrett occurred this week despite concerns over the recent coronavirus outbreak in the White House. Barrett was pressed on her opinions regarding the ACA and California v. Texas. §  Negotiations continue over another stimulus package before Election Day. While the White House and House Democrats want to pass a large stimulus package, there are still several areas of disagreement. Senate Republicans, on the other hand, aren’t interested in passing any sort of trillion-dollar bill.
