Have you ever gone to pick up a prescription only to find out you couldn’t
afford it? Some people can only imagine what that’s like, but for others,
it’s a reality. And it’s happening to more and more people right now—or
they’re simply not filling prescriptions, knowing they’ll pay a different
kind of price in symptoms that get worse, and more days they can’t be with
the people they love. |
In
one recent survey, 3 out of 4 older adults reported that they can’t afford to
pay more than $200 a month for their medications. That’s far below the
average out-of-pocket cost of $660 a month for a specialty medication. This is a problem all across our nation
and right around the corner from you. |

That’s why I’m writing to remind you to
make your gift to the 2022
Campaign of Hope before it ends and join other compassionate
people from around the country in changing what happens at the pharmacy
counter. |
