Being sedentary wasn't always bad
Why it matters: Being sedentary may have some advantages for
aging adults. Researchers examined more 228 adults between the ages of 60 and
80 who were in good health and found that while those who were more active
performed better at speed, memory and reason tasks, those who were more
sedentary did better with vocabulary and reading.
