Antibiotics stunted the growth of newborn baby boys

Why it matters: Newborn boys who are treated with antibiotics within the first two weeks after birth are more likely to grow more slowly in their first six years than those who didn't have antibiotics. Researchers say the same results weren't seen in newborn girls.
