You can enroll
in a SHOP plan through an insurance company or through a SHOP-registered
agent or broker.
Work with an agent or broker: As long as the agent or broker is registered to sell SHOP
insurance, you can use your current agent or broker or find a new one using
Find Local
Help.
Sign up through your insurance company: When contacting the insurance company, keep the following
important information handy, such as plan name, metal level, plan type, and
plan ID. You can access the information through HealthCare.gov’s See SHOP
Plans and Prices tool.
