You became less likely to get booted off a plane
Why it matters: Last week's WYWW featured some ideas for how air travel could be made less
miserable. Well, today the US Department of Transportation added one more thing
to the list: You can't get kicked off a commercial airline flight once you've
boarded the plane. There are exceptions for safety and security reasons, but at
least this means you're less likely to end up like that poor guy who got
dragged off a flight a few years ago simply because United Airlines wanted to
give his seat to another person.
