Analysis links fried food to higher CV risks
An analysis of studies found that people who ate the most fried
food each week had a 28% higher risk of major cardiovascular events, a 22%
greater risk of heart disease and a 37% higher risk of heart failure, compared
with those who ate the least. The review, published in the journal Heart, found
cardiovascular risks increased with each additional 4 ounces of fried food
consumed weekly.
