Biden has list of health care priorities beyond
COVID-19
President Joe Biden's health care plans beyond the COVID-19
pandemic include shoring up the Affordable Care Act and the Medicaid program,
reducing drug costs, and making changes to abortion and transgender health
care. Wendell Potter, president of Business Leaders for Health Care
Transformation, said Biden and his team should have a "singular focus on
what is best for consumers and patients, and that includes people who have
insurance."
