Biden proposes expanding health plan tax credits,
COBRA subsidies
President Joe Biden's proposed economic recovery plan would
increase and extend premium tax credits for enrollees in Affordable Care Act
marketplace health plans and subsidize COBRA health plan coverage through
September. Between 2 million and 3 million people in the US lost
employer-sponsored health insurance last year, according to the Kaiser Family
Foundation.
