One deal involves a Medicare plan seller.
The other involves a full-service life and health agency.
Integrity Market Group LLC has acquired Connexion Point, a
Medicare plan contact center company.
Dallas-based Integrity Marketing has relationships with about
325,000 independent agents. It expects to help insurers sell enough coverage to
generate about $3.5 billion in new annual premium revenue.
Connexion Point is a 10-year-old Salt Lake City-based company
with about 3,000 employees in six locations. It helps consumers with 5 million
interactions with carrier programs every year.
Connexion Point helped 250,000 people sign up for health
coverage during the latest Medicare annual enrollment period.
Integrity Marketing has not disclosed how much it’s paying for
Connexion Point, but it says the firm’s co-founders, Robert McMichael
and Christina Sears, will become Integrity Marketing managing partners.
Bryan Adams, Integrity Marketing Group CEO, said in
a release that acquiring Connexion Point should help his firm improve
retention and increase sales.

In other insurance deals news, The Hilb Group has
acquired Dwayne Wilson Insurance & Financial Services Inc.
The Hilb Group, a Richmond, Virginia-based insurance
agency, is part of the Carlyle Group.
Dwayne Wilson Insurance is a full-service, Maiden, North
Carolina-based life and health agency that was founded in 2001.
Terms were not disclosed, but Dwayne Wilson and other
agency employees will go to work in the Hilb Southeast region, Hilb Group
stated.
Hilb now has more than 100 offices in 20 U.S. states.
